Summer Moments!

I was looking through my phone and found some fun memories that I wanted to document for my sake (I have the worst memory).

This week Ashlyn, Brinley, and I planned a Frozen Party and invited some neighbors. We made the Frozen cupcakes that Grandma Williams bought us at Christmas! (Thanks!)

Ashlyn was a big help, especially with the clean up. She loved to lick the batter and the frosting!

Before we watched the movie, we put Frozen tattoos on our arms. (Thanks Grandma Martinson!)

Halfway through the Frozen movie, we ate the Frozen cupcakes!

While I was making dinner I needed some entertainment for Claire so I gave her a big shell cooked noodle. Of course she put it in her mouth and this was her reaction!

Some of my favorite moments is watching the girls playing/reading with their daddy!

We love Mud Pies at the forest. It is fun to watch the girls play together.

This little one is growing up too fast!!!

I am so very proud of Ashlyn! She has worked hard everyday doing Mommy School with me and learning how to read (which is hard work). She had been dedicated for 30 lessons and earned 30 stickers. When she completed this page she earned....

A pool party in the backyard with the family!

I think Derek and I were in the pool together, more often then the girls. I'm sure it was a hilarious sight!

The family each got an Icee for this hot event.

This cutie didn't enjoy the ice cold water on this hot day so she chilled in the shade playing with her toys! She still had a party!

We have been adventurous trying out new parks around here.

This little girl has no fear and has a very determined spirit.

All ready for church.

The girls and I have been making our weekly trips to the library. Oh these girls love reading books! We will spend hours just reading books throughout the day. Well it was getting hard to keep track of my kiddos (mainly Brinley) so I decided to bring the wagon and it was a huge success. I may bring it more often.

Their new favorite song is 5 Little Monkeys Swinging from the Tree.

After church I couldn't find Ashlyn anywhere. About 15 minutes later this is what I saw! They were having a hay day together. (This wheelchair just is parked in the hallway). Ha Ha.

Sweet Claire Bear!

In the mornings the girls will pop into bed with me and we will read stories. These moments I will cherish forever!

She has so much energy.

We went to Claire's 6 month check-up and while we were waiting for the Dr. to come I had Dr. Ashlyn check her out assisted by Nurse Brinley. It is a "game" we play every time we go to the Dr.

We are so blessed to have this sweet girl in our family.

I attempted to potty train Brinley a few weeks ago. To be honest, I was not ready for this, but when she would come up to me everyday after she has gone #2 and shows me with it on her hands I thought to myself that I should train her now or this stuff will be everywhere one of these days. Well after a day and a half of this I realized she is not totally ready. She gets #2, but she is too busy to recognize when she goes #1. So I'm happy to say she is still in diapers and I pray that I will not find any surprises on my walls or furniture anytime soon ;)

GREAT WOLF LODGE!

Another beautiful day during my summer vacation.. I mean summer semester! We love new parks!

We met up with John and Nicholette Sperry at the Great Wolf Lodge! It's amazing that it had been two years since we had seen each other!

Brinley loves babies! And baby Lacy was no exception!

Family Picture time!

It took a while for Ashlyn and Lily to warm up to each other (maybe so Ashlyn more than Lily). At dinner before we parted ways, they started really enjoying each other's company. Ashlyn told me when we got home, "I told Lily that I got her picture." (Ashlyn and Lily have been pen pals and Ashlyn has a picture that Lily sent her.)

They were all asleep within minutes of leaving.

These kiddos had so much fun!!!

Cute little bunch! These kids had a party jumping from bed to bed and eating whatever they wanted while the adults chatted away in the corner of the room. The babies were fast asleep in the other hotel room. Everyone had a great time!
