Happy 30th Birthday to the best daddy ever!!!!
I have been reflecting a lot about how blessed I am to have Derek as my hubby and best friend. He has accomplished so much in his short 30 years where he has pushed himself to achieve success in all areas of his life, while still be humble and continuing to achieve even higher goals. Not only has he set up a successful business and starting is consulting business, but above all he has a HUGE heart for our family. He truly is a FAMILY MAN! His happiness and joy is found in the girls (and soon to be boy) and I. WE LOVE YOU DEREK AND ARE SO PROUD OF YOU!!!!
We celebrated Dad turning 30 by playing a game where the family has to complete a task in 30 seconds. There was cup stacking, hopping on one foot, kissing a paper with lipstick on 30 times, singing happy birthday, eating 30 chocolate chips (that was the fave), and a few more. The girls really enjoyed it!
This picture is we had to put a sour patch candy in our mouth for 30 seconds. The faces made were priceless.

Kissing the paper game.
Derek got a few items for his birthday: this black hat, mission belt, guitar, and remote control car!
Derek's staff made lunch for Derek and we went to visit. These girls love going to see Daddy at work.
He always walks us to the car and their favorite is hug time with their balloons in hand!
Forgive our double chins, but we were trying to hide our phone in the movie theater. Birthday Date Night and Derek wanted to go see Black Panther.
This cute got a new princess bed for when she joins the bedroom with Claire when Baby Emmett arrives! She is excited!
Ashlyn was awarded Student of the Month from her class! We are so proud of her!
She was beyond excited and got a lot of fun things: free chick-fil-a meal, free cici pizza buffet meal, pencil, and a few trinkets.
Spring is here! We love playing outside.
For Ashlyn's birthday we bought her an Art and Science crate called KiwiCo and they send a box each month with a variety of crafts, magazine, and learning material. The month of February the theme was the solar system and she built this system all by herself! She hung it right above her bed. We love how much she loves these boxes!
Spring is here and this is just the beginning of lots of lunches outside.
Eating their favorite lunch: Mac and Cheese
After lunch they go to "work".
Rubbing chalk and putting the powder into a bucket of muddy water.
Brinley loves preschool. She looks forward to it and loves her teacher and class!
We did a couple of make up classes for gymnastics and Claire and I are in the waiting room where she finished her "homework" book! She was so excited to complete her first workbook!
This book is all about letters. It is hilarious because she doesn't know all her letters, but she knows all the sounds that they make.
This time of year the girls love picking flowers in the grass!!!
When the girls complete their homework/reading books, we pay them $2! We started a new book for Brinley to switch things up a bit and she completed 20 lessons out of the 100 so she got $2! YAY! I love how my girls enjoy learning!
One day after lunch I was doing the dishes in the kitchen when I heard all these sucking noises. Well I walk into the living room and found all 3 girls sucking on their fingers watching Letter Factory.

I love hearing the giggles and laughter as I was packing all the girls' winter clothes away.
We were invited to a homeschooling co-op and these two had a blast!
We went to a locate museum for a MOPS Playgroup. They love the Little House on the Prairie kitchen area.
I forgot to post these earlier, but Ashlyn completed the first Kiwi Crate of the body. She built a stethoscope, sewed body parts, and learned lots about the body from the material.
For Christmas my parents bought me some Animal Masks Facials. We decided to make it a girls party!
With the weather warming up, the swimming has begun! The girls have become really good friends with our neighbor girls so we invited them over.
I love surprising Ashlyn and checking her out of school to go on a special lunch date with Mommy! I cherish my time with her. She is really growing up so fast and is so mature for her age. We have a lot of fun together! I can't wait to have her home for the summer!
This picture is too funny not to share.
