Last week of school
Ashlyn got 2 awards at the Award Ceremony: High A Honor Roll and the Music Award
We are so proud of her!
On our way to the award ceremony, we were driving down the street and we saw a turtle in the middle of the street, crossing the road. We turned around to save the turtle so it didn't get smashed.
We all felt really good inside! We saved the turtle!!!
Brinley had her preschool program and now she is ready for Kindergarten!

Brinley has absolutely had a blast this year being in Ms. Melissa's class. She has made so many friends and memories!

To celebrate the last day of school, we picked up Ashlyn and we tried a new snow cone shop!
Great way to start summer!
For Memorial Day we went to our friends' house, the Hinckley's (which is the orthodontist in our ward) and we celebrated with a pot luck with 5 families from our ward. Our family had a blast!

It was so funny because she pulled her sleeves off her shoulders.
I love these two. They are becoming the best of friends!
Derek and I went on our first day after having Emmett and we went to the zoo park.
The sky was absolutely breath taking! The picture doesn't give that moment justice.
Derek pulled Baby Emmett to give him a kiss and he made a hilarious face! If you look closely you can see his eyebrows are up and his forehead is wrinkled.

The girls asked to earn extra money and so Derek told them they would have to deep clean the house top to bottom and they could earn $100. He was totally kidding and then they took him up on his offer. They have been cleaning the house room by room and working so hard ALL BY THEMSELVES! They have decided that they want to buy an ipad with the money they earn!

Ashlyn went with me to run errand to 5 different places and she said that it is like having 5 dates all in one (because we usually only got to one place on our dates). We made a stop to McDonalds to have an ice cream and if you look closely we have evidence on our faces (not knowing our faces were messy until we saw the picture ha ha).

We went to dinner and got a dessert! I loved watching their faces when it arrived!
These two are really great buds! Lately they have been matching in their outfits and they love it!

Reading time after lunch...this reminds me of Helen's house when I was growing up. After lunch she would have us read on our own for about 30 minutes.

Ashlyn got another Kiwi Crate and she built a sweeper all on her own.
She is great at following instructions!
For Trip Thursday we went Blueberry picking after our morning run. We all had fun and we got over a gallon of blueberries!
