Visit from Uncle Trevor and Halloween

We had a very special visitor come to town: Uncle Trevor!

We got to pick him up from the airport and stop by Chuy's

Trevor got some dental work done by the best dentist in town.  Derek enjoyed sharing some embarrassing stories while Trevor was being worked on.  Trevor couldn't defend himself because someone's hands where in his mouth. 

While the kids were at school we had a fun date with Trevor playing frisbee golf in Nac.

It was fun to see Trevor enjoy the one wheel.  I will be honest that I was nervous how fast he was going.

Derek has been watching this show on youtube call HOT ONES where a host interviews celebrities and during the interview they eat hot wings and it gets hotter and hotter as the interview continues.  Derek was so excited to try the hot ones sauces with Trevor so he ordered a pack and we bought wings.

We love this small pumpkin patch with our friends

There is a new restaurant Lufkin called Pelican Point which is cajun. It is our favorite right now.

We went to a museum and it was a nature treasure hunt.  We looked for ghosts, witches, and other Halloween characters. 

There was a scavenger hunt with information about lufkin and the early settlement.  Derek decided it would be fun to quiz the kids and have them earn money if they get the right answers.  The information was hard, but they searched for the answers...and they earned $18!!!
