Our week

Thus the gate, installed today by yours truly (Derek). I tried to pile things up at the bottom of the stairs (vacuum, toys, coats) but she would get through them and start up the stairs.

 I have wanted one of these bibs since Ashlyn was a baby. I thought they looked so cool! 

 See all that food and water sitting in the bottom of the bib? All that would have been on her lap, legs, on the seat and floor.

 I think Brinley likes it too...

 We bought a new car seat for Ashlyn and Jenny put it together! This is her face when she has to read directions and figure out how to do something. (She didn't like this picture so I made it large instead of extra large.)

 I had to bribe all the girls for a cupcake to get this picture, because this will probably be the only picture that I will get with all six of us girls.  I surely have enjoyed babysitting the Flynn girls!!  Ashlyn and Brinley both love them as well.

For Brinley's birthday, Grandma Martinson gave Brinley a book that recorded Grandma reading the story.  All the girls loved listening (especially the part where Grandma says Brinley's name- haha)  In one day we probably listened to it about 50 times (and I wish I was kidding).  Thanks for the gift, but I never thought I would get sick of your voice Mom.  HAHA!  Love ya!

 I made a yearbook for all my preschool students with all their individual pictures and a class picture. This is the "best" class picture I could get.  All the other photos, the kids are looking away, touching each other, or making funny faces.  Got to love preschoolers!  I can't believe how fast time has gone with this preschool year.  We will be having our preschool graduation on April 29th.  Hopefully I will be able to post some photos and our class play.  Ashlyn is adorable in it. 

Happy Easter!!

Yesterday, Village Green had their annual Easter Egg Hunt.  The big park was filled with dozens and dozens of eggs.  Ashlyn and Brinley both had so much fun! Ashlyn couldn't wait to find out what was inside each one of her eggs and Brinley just enjoyed shaking/eating them.  

 Doesn't Derek look like he is having so much fun... he is pouting because he is too old to participate in the Easter Egg Hunt. He is a kid at heart!

Derek really wasn't pouting, but he was throwing one of Ashlyn toys at me and so I get to have payback with posting a not-so-pleasant picture of him. 

 The Easter Bunny made a stop at the Williams' house last night.  It made everyone's jaws drop.

 I love her expressions when she opens up the eggs or gifts.  I am learning that I think that is one of her dominate Love Languages.

Happy Birthday Brinley!

It was Brinley's Birthday today! We have loved having this little girl in our family! Ashlyn has loved having a little sister and Brinley has definitely made us happier. We love our family hugs together (although Brinley just usually feels smothered).

Today for Brinley's birthday we went to the Children's Museum!  It was fun to spend the day with my two cute girls!!!   Ashlyn was going down the slide, when she got the idea to have Brinley go down with her.  Brinley's reaction was different every time, but overall I think she enjoyed it!

Ashlyn woke up at 6:00am this morning and didn't want to go back to bed. I asked her if she wanted to go running with me and she said "Sure!" So we went together. She had a lot of fun. She really wanted to keep up with me so she got to ride on my shoulders part of the time. I don't think I'll be able to keep that up!
