It's the most wonderful time of the year for the Williams!

Ashlyn and I went on a mommy/daughter date to by pumpkins so we could decorate them with stickers!  We had a blast as a family doing this activity! The girls did a great job!  I love where Ashlyn chose to put the kitty face.

The day that Vala's opened we decorated our house (being on our anniversary).
Oh how much we love this time of year!

We love Vala's!
For our anniversary we were going to go there as a family because of the rain.  We got pizza and watched the new Cinderella movie and on the special features we watched Frozen Fever.  So the next day when we went to Vala's guess who we saw!?!

With our favorite neighbors

We got to have lunch with Daddy at Chick-fil-a!  It was so much fun to hang out with him on a school day

Ashlyn has been asking to have a party for a long time and so we finally planned a tea party!  It was so much fun to have a girl party!!!

Brinley is having a blast being in mommy's preschool.

Krispy Kreme dress like a pirate day!  We were getting ready for bed and Ashlyn begged me if we could go...so we did!  It was fun for my little pirates.

Even the littlest pirate.

I am just so blessed to be the mother of these cuties!  I truly have learned so much through the highs and lows of motherhood.  I am so grateful everyday for the ultimate joy that they bring to my life!
I love you ABC!

We were at Costco the other day and these little princesses found Elsa's castle.  They were in ice heaven for over 10 minutes playing with it. Ha ha.

Ashlyn had a grandparents day at her zoo preschool and with all you in Utah, we went anyways.

First we rode the train and then explored the zoo.

The joys of being a kid!

This week

I was able to spend some extra time at home this week because I was on rotation at a community clinic that is near our house.

Ashlyn likes to go for bike rides to "triple hills". It is an area of village green where the sidewalk behind units. There are three little hills that you go down in a distance of about 100 ft.

Here is the very end of it.

Children's Museum on Friday morning!

Jenny is such an amazing mother. She takes so many opportunities to teach the girls the gospel. Here she is, watching a short video about Nephi before singing the primary song, "Nephi's Courage".

Vala's again! We have gone the last two Saturdays and are still loving it. It is such a big place that even though there are so many people, it doesn't feel like there are too many.

What are they wishing for?

The girls looking in on Sleeping Beauty. Some day when we go to Disneyland, I have a feeling that the girls will just love it.

Ashlyn giving it a go!

Claire was really starting to get ornery at the end of our Vala's trip. We made our last stop at a sand play area and she brightened right up!

My favorite pair of shorts ripped! They were hand-me-downs from a classmate new shorts too! I was given them last year. I was also slightly embarrassed that the world was looking at my underwear. Jenny will sew them up for me. Right Jenny?

Ashlyn, Brinley, and Claire are each growing in their own ways, all becoming more independent.

Fall is HERE!

Claire is crawling and standing up! She has become active fairly quickly! It has been a lot of fun. Also more work for Mom and Dad.

One of the last hot days of the year... Buckets and hoses out to keep cool! Brinley and Penny had a hay-day getting in and out of this bucket of water.

Cute sisters...

Jenny and the girls put out birdseed to attract birds...

Sleep Apnea CE. I think I was the only one in my class that actually enjoyed it.

VALA'S! Yay! We have been looking forward to this all year! It is maybe our favorite thing about living in Omaha! We don't spend much as a family but it is easily worth it to buy a season pass for the seven weeks they are open.

Brinley is beginning to be more comfortable walking off on her own. There were a few times that we looked around and really had to search for where she was at. One of the times she was found here, posing as a cow.

We always enjoy our time talking to grandmas and grandpas on the computer or iPad. We are grateful for avenues like this and the blog that allow us to remain close when we are so far apart. Ashlyn snapped a picture of Nana and Grandpa Williams while skyping tonight.

School is going well for me. I am getting more and more involved in complex surgeries. This week I placed two implants and performed an apicoectomy. I feel very blessed to be at Creighton. I am getting an excellent education and will really be able to hit the ground running after graduation. As of now, we are planning on staying in the Omaha area to buy a practice or start a new one as soon as I am approved for financing. We are excited and very optimistic for what the future will bring.

This picture shows the procedure of an apicoectomy. It is basically the treatment for a failed root canal. You reflect the gums, removed infected tissue, cut off part of the root, and seal off the end. (Just in case anyone actually cares)
