Funny story: Ashlyn and I went to our local grocery store a few nights ago. We were walking around the store and noticed that the music over the speakers wasn't coming in really well. It sounded like it had bad reception. Ashlyn looked around while listening and then looked at me, "I think the store needs new batteries." This sure gave me a laugh.
Mom and Maren got me these suspenders and bowtie for Christmas. I like the new look. The suspenders were super comfortable too!
We got a new camera (Canon T3i) and external flash this week. Needless to say, we've had fun taking some inside pictures. The external flash really makes a difference in giving the picture a much natural look by adding light to the whole room, not just to the subject.
Each night, Ashlyn begs us to let Brinley lay with her for a minute in her bed. Lately, Brinley has really begun to enjoy it. One night this week, Brinley was very tired and had been fussy. Ashlyn asked if Brinley could lay by her and I said okay even though I thought she wouldn't be happy. I laid her down and Brinley immediately began shaking her arms out of excitement. The relationship between these two is really beginning to blossom.
Brinley is just a little bundle of joy! She is very happy and easily content.
Mom is a little behind the times when it comes to the age that soda drinking is appropriate. I think Brinley is okay with it though.
Ashlyn went to a birthday party for a friend, Chloe, last night. She was able to dress up as Cinderella and had a great time.
