While the Daddies studied on Saturday, we took a day trip to Nebraska City (about an hour from Omaha) with our great neighbors. We went on to an Apple Farm and enjoyed many adventures!

How grateful we are for our ears, but one thing that I am grateful for is the gift of selective hearing. One day Ashlyn might master this skill when she becomes a mom.

Ashlyn was so brave, she did the zipline really quick and fast so the alligators wouldn't get her (love her imagination). Then mom took a turn too. We had lots of fun trying to keep our balance on the rope.

I made a hammock for Ashlyn to play in and then she played "Mommy and Kid" with Hailey. One person is the mom who puts the kid to sleep. It is hilarious to see how she imitates Derek and I.
